The BCI Asia Awards

Since its founding in 2005, the annual BCI Asia Awards (BCIAA) have recognised the top architects and developers in seven of Asia’s key markets: Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam. The awards, which include the Top 10 Architects, Top 10 Developers, FuturArc Prize, and BCI Asia Interior Design Awards, are intended to acknowledge and inspire creative and sustainable solutions for the benefit of our built environment.

Top 10 Architects Awards

The Top 10 Architects awards are given to the architecture companies with the highest aggregate value of projects completed in the previous calendar year, as determined by the level of their sustainability and validated green building ratings.

While not all plans are built to original specifications, the criterion covers pre-tender projects to recognise early-stage green design efforts. Industrial, office and hotel developments are also given higher ratings by BCI. Furthermore, a project can be recognised twice during its lifetime; the second occasion being when it moves from tender to main contract award in the following year.
