Life at BCI: Kimberly Krups

We spoke to Kimberly Krups who is celebrating 5 years with BCI Central

“There’s no better feeling than seeing each team member improve month-on-month and enjoy their day-to-day sales roles.”

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
My name is Kimberly Krups, I’m originally from Germany but grew up in Sydney, Australia. During school and university, I worked in both fast-food and retail. After completing a Bachelor of Commerce at Macquarie University, I started my sales journey at BCI, and the rest is history ? Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors, at the beach, with friends and family, and with my dog, Nala.

What is your role at BCI?
I work in the Sales Department as the NSW/ACT Sales Manager, and I’m celebrating my 5NS anniversary with BCI.

What do you enjoy most about your position?
I enjoy many aspects of my role such as creating sales training modules, forecasting, joining management meetings, etc… However, the best part of my role is being able to take an individualised management approach with my team and provide them with the support they each need to be successful in a business development capacity. There’s no better feeling than seeing each team member improve month-on-month and enjoy their day-to-day sales roles.

What achievements are you most proud of?
My journey at BCI started in an appointment setter capacity, where I had zero B2B sales experience. I’m proud of myself for sticking through the initial hard yards as I was promoted to a Business Development Manager after my first 6 months at BCI and, the year following, topped ANZ in terms of revenue generated. It’s been great to be able pass some of my learnings on to my current team and witness them overcome similar hurdles.

Can you share with us a favourite memory from your time at BCI?
My favourite memory at BCI is meeting with the whole ANZ team at our 20-year anniversary and celebrating F2F as a collective!
