Construction Specialties’ RS-5605 awarded AIRAH Product of the Year 2023 

 

Construction Specialties is the proud recipient of the AIRAH Product of the Year 2023 for their storm-resistant louvre system, the RS-5605. By recognising achievements in innovation, sustainability and excellence in the HVAC&R design, engineering and implementation process, AIRAH encourages practices for a more sustainable environment. 

The RS-5605 is a 131mm deep, vertically bladed aluminium performance louvre system that is designed to protect buildings against wind-driven rain. The louvres are manufactured from aluminium, a recyclable material sourced from sustainable suppliers. Required in most facilities to provide essential airflow, architectural louvres help to improve a building’s energy efficiency.  

The company has been manufacturing and selling louvres globally for an impressive 60+ years and is the only Australian louvre manufacturer with both AS/NZS and Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) certifications.
