The BCI Asia Awards

Since its inception in 2005, the BCI Asia Awards has recognised architects and developers within the building and design industry across seven prominent markets in Asia: Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam. Inclusive of the Top 10 Architects, Top 10 Developers, FuturArc Award, and the BCI Asia Interior Design Awards, the BCI Asia Awards are aimed at celebrating and fostering environmentally conscious designs, which contribute to the advancement of our built environment.

Top 10 Architects Awards

The Top 10 Architects are awarded to architecture firms that have the highest cumulative value of projects under construction during the preceding calendar year. The evaluation process considers the firms’ sustainability commitment and verified green building ratings.

Acknowledging the fact that not all designs are constructed according to original specification, the evaluation criteria encompass pre-tender projects, recognising early-stage green design efforts. Higher ratings are also awarded to industrial, office and hotel projects. Additionally, a project can receive recognition twice during its lifespan, specifically when it progresses from tender to main contract awarded in the subsequent year.
